Hyrule Field and Kokori Forest

Exit the ranch and enter the Kokori Forest. All the girls will say something about Saria and entering the Lost Woods. Now exit the forest and enter AGAIN. Go left then go down the ladder, step on the stump, then take out your Ocarina. These skull kids will make you memorize random songs. Make sure that you have a paper and pencil ready so you can remember the songs. Memorize three times, and then they will give you a piece of heart.
