Looking for Help?

Hi, I'm Elizabeth Rucinski, this is my first Zelda guide I've made, this is the first video game I've played. If you are looking for help, read my guide. This guide is what you may be looking for if you are new to Zelda. Visit anyway, even if you hahve beat the game. This guide has all of the secrets. It shows nothing less than the best way to beat the game. With everything of course. I have, and i'm waiting for you to. If you want to make comments, click on comments below. This site will not be done for a while, so please do not get mad if I do not have everyhthing there. I hope you will enjoy my guide even though I haven't completed it yet. Every few days, come and check, and something new might be there. One thing is, this game is probobly the best video game ever. (At least for the Zelda series). You may be confused at some parts if you look ahead of the guide. I will tell you, the guide is not all there is. You can figure out many more things. You can learn about the game from the game itself. On the posts list over there it only lists ten posts, but there are many more in this huge game.

I know this game is a link from microsoft frontpage, so when I say look up secrets and things, I meen from that site.

Kokori Forest

Do: Check the Kokori Forest
Get: the Sword and Shield, Rupees, To the Deku Tree
Meet: Nobody

Ok, you start here because this is your home. It is called the Kokori Forest. You will start off in your home. You must exit this place first. Walk forward and climb down the ladder. Talk with Saria (the girl with the green hair standing close to the ladder). OK now move forward up a slope and come to a fence guarding water. Turn right and skip across the water and come to an opening. Get really close to that opening and you will notice that there is a boy named Mido guarding it and he will not let you pass unless you have equipped both a sword and a shield. Okay then, we can manage. Before you really go on any main quest, stop and have a look around any new place and even old places. Try to talk to everyone and memorize the layout of everything.

Okay now lets start looking for the sword. Get to Link’s house then follow the dirt path left until you come to a girl with orange hair (as most kokories do). She should be standing at the bottom of a small hill. On the hill is the forest training center. Ignore the fact and move in and out through the fences until you see a guy hitting the air. Ignore him as well. Go forward to a hole in the wall. Wait until A says ENTER then press A. Move the control stick forward. Now be careful. Make your way through this one-way maze until you come to a treasure chest. Open it to obtain the sword. Press start and go to the equipment subscreen, move the highlighter over the picture of the sword, and press A. You have equipt the sword. One of the items to get by Mido.

Two other items I prefer to have equipt and obtained are the Deku Sticks and Deku Nuts. You can find a ton of these in the great deku tree but I prefer to be ahead. You should too. One great place to look is in the Kokori Shop. They sell you many items of which you can’t even use yet. The item you need to buy anything from this shop are, no not dollars but a different currency. They are called rupees. They are shiny little gems that you can collect by walking into them. You can find them by cutting grass, throwing rocks, opening chests, and other ways in the future. But right now you are stuck in the Kokori forest.

You can enter the shop and buy as many nuts and sticks as you can buy, but unless you have both the sword and the shield you will be stuck in the Kokori forest forever. You may ask: how do I get the shield? Well, if you went into the Kokori Shop you would know but if you would have paid attention, you would know that in the Kokori shop there is a Deku Shield for sale. It costs 40 rupees but that is no problem. Just wonder in and out and everywhere until you have enough money for a Deku Shield, 5 Deku Nuts, and 5 Deku Sticks.

Okay now once you have equipt everything, and then go see Mido. He will let you pass. (By the way, to equipt anything at the area the nuts and sticks are in, highlight one and press either Y, Z, or, X. So now when you want to use one, just press that letter). Dodge the plants/babas and follow the path to the deku tree’s lair. He will talk to you and ask you a question, say yes and he will let you enter him, THAT’S RIGHT IN HIM! You will do this once more with Jabu Jabu.

Deku Tree

Do: Complete the deku tree
Get: map, Slingshot, compass, and Kokori Emerald
Meet: The Deku Tree, Mido

Enter by walking in the mouth, and go forward to some vines, Navi will tell you something so do it. Climb up the vines to reach a ledge. Walk right to find a chest. Open the chest to receive the map. It will say what to do but you could have guessed it. Continue right to find a door. Open the door and deflect the Deku Scrubs nut back to him (it is that bush guy spitting nuts at you) hint: if you get close enough, he will hide in the plants. Now he will begin to rampage all around the room and if you can’t catch him he will go back in his flower. Catch him to automatically speak with him. This will open the door so you can get to the next room by going through the door duh. In the next room jump off the ledge (not on the platform) or it will shake and you will fall. Climb to the next ledge. Open the chest to receive the slingshot. Now jump on the platform and jump forward to the ledge and exit before the platform brakes.

Now walk through the next door and you will be in the first room. Get to the vines and take out your slingshot, aim for the skullwullatas (they like giant skulls with spidery legs scratching on vines). There are three, one is low on the right vine then stand a few steps backwards and aim up high, the final one is on the left vine. (The second one may be on the left vine, I can’t remember). Sling down three skullwullatas in those three places. Now it is safe to go up without being attacked. Begin to climb up the vines on the right. Once up high where all the vines connect and go left and get on the ledge (or you could say branch). Go left ignoring the dropping skulltullas to find a door and enter it. (There are three or four skulltullas that drop if you get close to the web they hang on. These you will find every few feet you move.)

In this room step on the switch to make some platforms rise (hurry, the time is limited). Jump on them jump on the raised platforms and go strait until you reach a ledge with a chest, open it to find the compass. Now the platforms are not raised but that is OK because all you need to do is get back to the first ledge (you will need to destroy the plant/Deku Baba to get back up) and step on the switch again. Go left to another ledge and dodge the thing doing push-ups. Now you see a golden Skullwullata, (like before only golden) strike it twice with your sword to earn a token, collect it, and it will be useful. Go back up to the first ledge and light the braziers (torches) with a Deku Stick. Equip one and bring it to the lit torch, now your stick is lit, hurry before it burns swing it at the unit torches to light them and open the door.

Now you are in the web part of the room. Now sling all of the skulltullas down so that all of the openings are free. Find one, and get back to the wall straight behind the opening. (You will notice that there is a light brown, small path between the wall and the opening. Stand on this (but kind of far back) then target a straight view forward and run as fast as you can so that you leap right off the edge and fallin’ directly for the skulltullaweb. If you make a direct middle shot on it you will fall into water, but if you don’t make a direct hit then you will just have a soft landing back to the beginning floor.

Hit the switch on the second highest ledge to light a brazier (there are three ledges, one is low and you can easily reach it, one has a switch, which you should be on, and another one is too high to reach but don’t worry you will get up soon enough.) Well get to and on the one ledge with the switch. You could have guessed to hit it and cause an effect. The effect is a torch will light and burn a web with a chest containing a life resumer. Take out a Deku stick and light it. Hurry, jump in the shallow part of the water (the part coming out from the left and middle side of that ledge) or else the light will be put out if you try to swim in deeper water, get speed and jump to the lowest ledge then continue forward and light the web plus continue through the door. (The life resumer is a heart that replenishes your three hearts at the top, this is your life, every time an enemy(s) attacks you, and you will lose some of this life. Depending on the creature is how much life gets taken away. If too many enemies attack you or attack too many times and you loose all of your life, you will faint and restart somewhere. At this case, the beginning of the Deku Tree Dungeon)

Here in this room there will be another deku scrub. Again bounce its nut back at it, (or dodge the nuts and stand on the flower as well as hitting the eyeball with a deku seed from your slingshot to open the door) and then talk to it (just like before). Only this time it tells you something that doesn’t make any sense. Anyway take out your slingshot and sling (I can make my own words like sling) the eye above the door to open it.

This room you may say, is simple to complete. That is, unless you have gotten on the floating platform and knocked off by the rotating spiked pillar. But it is still simple to complete if you know what to do. Well hop in the water and just as Navi tells you: “once you get in the water dive and you will find some interesting things or something like that. Well get about 2/5 of the way there on the left side you may locate a switch underwater. Get right above it the press A (which right now says DIVE) to dive down and hit the switch. Hurry, the water only stays down for a limited time. Quickly swim over to the other side and wait for the platform to come, and then jump on it. Wait until you are in jumping range then jump to the other side. Walk to the wall and then destroy the big skulltulla. Now walk up to the block and pull/push it until it can no longer. Climb it, and then enter the door up ahead.

Now you are in a room with three braziers. (First destroy the big skulltula to free the path). One is lit and the other two aren’t. There are also two deku babas. One is in the middle, which you can easily see, and the other is partly “hidden” in the shadow of the room. Ignore this one and worry about the one in the middle so you aren’t attacked while carrying flames. Anyway equip a deku stick and light it on fire. Bring it over to the other two braziers and light them to open the door.

Okay, this room scared my little sister, but I don’t know why. She didn’t mind the part you should do about the destroying the big skulltulla. Maybe it was the baby gohmas, which surprisingly dropped down on you. Well don’t just sit sucking the controller; move forward and usually two gohmas will drop on you. Okay, L- target one gohma dodging the other. When it pounces swipe with your sword at it’s eye or whatever you can hit of it’s. As soon as they are both gone, equip a deku stick and light the stick from the lit brazier and light the two skulltulawebs. Find the one without a rock blocking it. By now, the final gohma must have dropped. (I’m sorry, but I can’t be sure of the pattern in which they fall. For example, it might drop down with the others or it may never drop. I only told you the average of what happens. This is one of very few non-market game unpredictable rooms.) Anyway, go through the small tunnel in the blocks.

See I TOLD YOU SO. You are on the highest ledge of the first water room. But you have to be very careful because if you don’t and fall, you will have to do everything all over again. So what you do is simple. Just walk over to the block and PUSH it. Do not pull or else you will fall and you know what will happen then. Anyway, once you have the block pushed into the shallow water, NOW you may get down there because you may just get back up by climbing the block. Now walk over to the vines and kill the gold skulltulla with the slingshot the climb the vines to get it. Now there is one on some bars, get rid of it by doing you know what. Then stand on a ledge and jump at the token. Back to the real guide. Walk to the ledge with the switch and light a deku stick, then run and jump on to the block then climb to the high ledge. Stand on the web then swing your deku stick and fall to B2.

Now, the hardest part of the Deku Tree Dungeon (my opinion). The three deku scrubs. This is actually fairly easy to complete once you know the order to stun them in. Well I suppose I should tell you. First hit the middle one, next the one on the right side, and then finally the left one (he will act like a normal deku scrub and does not turn purple and make a weird noise). You catch him and he will tell you something about the boss you will find in the next room. Her name is Queen Gohma, and I don’t know about you, but I would not like her as my queen (not like I have one or anything).

Now you shall meet queen gohma, but first, look up and she will see you. Look under Bosses for defeating info. Once you have defeated her, her body will shrivel up and leave behind a heart container. Collect it first. Then step into the blue light to be placed outside of the Deku Tree.

He will ask you if you will listen to the triforce’s legend. Say yes, and it will be long but interesting.

Kokori Forest

Do: Enter Hyrule Field and get the Fairy Ocarina
Get: To Hyrule Field, Fairy Ocarina
Meet: Mido, Saria

From the great deku tree, follow the path follow the path back to the kokori Forest. Mido has again blocked the place where you exit the tree’s lair. But you do not have to find anything to pass. Just speak to him and he sounds mad. But if you take a tour around, all the boys seem mad and the girls seem sad/worried. Nobody has the same reactions except the guy at the forest training center hitting air. Another strange thing is the guy who was blocking the exit to Hyrule Field is just sitting down muttering. (The exit is directly below the Know-it-all brothers house. It looks like a giant log shoved into a wall.) Another strange thing is Mido is in his house. This gets him mad. Soon Saria will enter her house as well (which is very odd, because she loves nature and outdoor things). Okay now go through the exit that dude was guarding. You will automatically run forward and Saria will appear. She will present to you, the Fairy Ocarina (not the Ocarina Of Time). You will enter Hyrule Field!

Hyrule Field

Do: Enter Hyrule Castle Territory
Get: Map of Hyrule, rupees
Meet: Kaepora Gaebora

Okay, now you are in Hyrule Field! But it is dangerous now, far more dangerous that before. You may ask, why? Well these scared my little sister as well. I can see why, they are practically living skeletons! They are called Stalchilds. But it is not that dangerous because if you hurry, and don’t let night fall on you while you are in Hyrule Field. That’s right, you’re now safe. Walk forward; you will be surprised by a voice. The voice belongs to an owl named Kaepora Gaebora. He will speak to you and give you the map of Hyrule. He will explain about it. He will ask you a question, say yes if you want him to go away and quit talking. Okay now you have to hurry. Follow the dirt path to Hyrule Castle (roll attack if you want to hurry up). Now you will spot a drawbridge. Cross it fast because during the nighttime the bridge is up and you are stuck with the stalchilds.

Hyrule Castle is not the only place there is to go. There are places going all over the field. In the center of it is Lon Lon Ranch, where you will be on your way to next, (or at least you should). Next to the castle is Death Mountain Territory. At the bottom is Kakariko Village. You can’t get to Death Mountain yet. Next to that is Zora’s Territory, all I can say is that it is mostly water, and you travel there third. Next to that is the Kokori Forest, which we just went to. And far right is the way adult Link gets to Lake Hylia. Even farther away my favorite place, the Gerudo Territory. This is a desert area. The places you get the other two spiritual stones are: Death Mountain Area And Zora Area.

Hyrule Castle and market

Do: Meet Princess Zelda, Get the weird egg, and Buy a shield
Get: Weird egg, Hylian shield, Zelda’s letter and lullaby
Meet: Zelda, Impa, Malon, Talon

Once you have crossed the drawbridge enter the door in the first area before you enter the Market. Here you will find jars that you can break and receive rupees that will help you when you enter the market. Enter the room and exit it several times until you have 99 rupees. Then go back to the first room and go left, now you are in Hyrule Town Market. There are a ton of people here and many places to enter.

One is only open at night but you’ll need another item to win it. The place is called the Treasure Box shop and the item is the lens of truth. One shop is not even open yet but later it will. It is called the Happy Mask shop. One named the Bomchu Bowling, you will need to have bought or own bomchus. Go to the Back Ally and try all of the doors until you come to a shop (with what looks like broken wood) and blue things on the shelves. Don’t bother this shop unless you have over 100 rupees. (Which is impossible to get now) So back to the other shops, there is one with a bulls-eye target above it, this is the shooting gallery. The last two ones are the medicine shop (which you can’t use yet) so ignore it. The one next to it is the Bazaar, now enter this shop and buy the Hylian Shield (even though it costs 80 rupees and you can get it for free in the graveyard) it will be a useful defense against Stalchilds.) Just use the shield by pressing R so the Stalchilds just attack the medal.

Back to the Guide. Talk to Malon, she will be the lady with her hands over her chest, she has red hair, a white dress, and she can be found ahead by the place you can see the castle the best. She will be singing. Speak with her. Then go backwards towards the castle. Wait for night, and then go back to the market. Malon will be gone. Guess where she is. Out where you just were, so go back. Speak with her and she will tell you that her father is delivering milk to the castle but he hasn’t came back. (His name is Talon, and he owns Lon Lon Ranch). Malon thinks you can wake him up and bring him back. She also gives you the weird egg. This is an egg that wakes up immensely heavy sleepers such as Talon (as the game progresses, you will notice that talon is always sleeping.) Anyway, get close to the tree and Kaepora Gaebora will talk to you about the castle. From now on, if you want him to go away then say no. After he leaves, if it is still nighttime, then roll into the tree and a gold skulltulla will fall out. Defeat it, and then collect the useful token. Okay, the first guard won’t let you into the castle, but if you go back to Malon then climb the vines you will be able to get past him just fine. Now once on the plateau, go to the opening in the bricks and drop down into it. Open the door at the bottom. You got past him!

This part is so much harder and I was stuck on it for a while. But I figured out what to do eventually. So get to the bottom of the hill and L-target forward. Move slowly to the right until you are not to close to the two guards but not in front of the guard and the other plateau. As soon as this has occurred, then climb directly straight up the hill to the plateau. Now get around the other guards by running forward. DO NOT ROLL I repeat DO NOT ROLL. If you do then the guards would hear you and throw you back to where the first guard was. Once you are at the wall, climb the rocks straight up the wall! Okay, run straight into the water and swim your way out and exit in the corner. Now, walk to your left and you will find the sleeping Talon. If it is day, then L-target him, get close, and take out the egg. (Which should be a newly hatched chicken/cucoo). Talon will wake up. Speak with him and something funny will happen.

Now, pull the crates until one is in the water and another is on top of that one. Climb it, and jump on to the castle ledge. There will be a small tunnel, enter it like you did in the deku tree tunnel. Oh yeah, one more thing, it has to be daytime or the guards will block the entrance to the first checkpoint. But if it is daytime, move to an opening and another weird perspective will be shown, and for a good reason too. Now you have to get past moving guards. Right now it is only one. When it is on the top area, run forward to get to the next checkpoint. This one I was stuck on for a while too. I just learned to memorize their patterns. I also learned that they never look behind themselves. Once you get past them, then you have to get past one guard again. This time, as soon as he is heading up, make a run for it. As soon as you are in the forth checkpoint, there will be two more guards. To get past them just stay behind the second one. Do not roll or come to close to him, or he will catch you. As soon as you are in the final checkpoint, just also stay behind the second guard until you are halfway across the court. Exit in this large opening and you will see another to your left. Enter it, and you will meet up with Princess Zelda.

Walk forward, and speak with her. She will be very surprised to see you. She realizes that you are the boy from her prophecy. She asks you a lot of questions. Even if you say no, she does the same thing that she would if you said yes. It is still better to be polite and respect Zelda. After all, she does look as if she is in desperate need of you. She will present to you, a story. After a while, she will ask if you want to look through her window. Say yes, and you may spy on Ganon, the evil king of Gerudos. Later on, she will finish. She will tell you that her nursemaid, Impa, will guide you safely out of the castle. To find her, walk to the exit. She will look kind of weird, but she is really nice. She teaches you: Zelda’s Lullaby. It goes like this: left, up, right, left, up, right. This is the first, and one of the most useful songs you learn. She safely guides you to the drawbridge where it is still day. Equipt the Hylian shield, just incase nightfall comes to quickly. Equipt it like you did the sword and shield.

Hyrule field and Lon Lon Ranch

Do: Enter Lon Lon Ranch
Get: First bottle, Epona’s Song
Meet: Talon, Malon

From the drawbridge, haven’t you spotted something northeast from where you are standing, there is a kind of large area in the center of the field. Well if you need to explore the field some more, go ahead, you have the hylian shield as a weapon against stalchilds. Anyway, enter this area by getting into the opening in the wall. (I call them openings because there are hardly ever doors, there are just openings in the walls.)

From the beginning of the ranch, go forward until you reach a horse corral. Enter the horse corral by walking through the open gateway. In the center of the corral, you will find Malon. She will introduce Epona to you. Speak with Malon three times, then show her your Ocarina and she will teach you Epona’s Song. It goes like this: up, left, right, up, left, right. This is used to summon Epona. You can only use it and make it useful when you are Adult Link. (This is when you are able to ride Epona.) (By the way, you can only learn this song if it is daytime)

From where Malon is standing, back up back to where the two houses are. One is a house and one is a stable. Enter the house, where all the cucoos are. They look like chickens. Speak with Talon to wake him up. He will ask you to play his cucoo game for 10 rupees. He will throw three special cucoos into a bunch of regular cucoos. One thrown cucoo is right behind you, another is around in the hay, and the third one is around the left corner. When you find a cucoo, Talon will take it and when you have found all three, Talon will ask a ridiculous question. After that he will give you a bottle of milk. It is the bottle you really need.

Before you leave, be sure to check the place with cows. This area is allllll the way across the ranch. You will also notice a box puzzle, If you notice that there is a tiny tunnel that leads to a tiny area with a piece of heart. Move the blocks around so this area is open.

Hyrule Field and Kokori Forest

Do: Enter Lost Woods and Sacred forest Meadows
Get: Saria’s Song
Meet: Saria, Mido

Exit the ranch and enter the Kokori Forest. All the girls will say something about Saria and entering the Lost Woods. If you go into Mido’s house, he will say that Saria went into the lost woods looking for you. The lost woods are on the summit of the hill behind Mido’s house. As soon as you enter it, you will figure out why it is called the lost woods. This place is so confusing; there are tons of rooms with four passageways in each. Well from start, go right, you will come across an area with a tree that has a target on it. Lean over the fence and hit three bulls-eyes in a row to make a Deku Scrub come out of its flower. He will give you a deku bullet bag. This allows you to carry 40 or 50 (depends if you made ten targets at the market shooting gallery or not) deku seeds. Okay,
Turn left, right, left, right, straight, left, right to enter the sacred forest meadows. This place is still very confusing. Equipt the Deku shield and destroy mad scrubs along your way. Turn and go all you way through the maze by turning left and right. Eventually you will have to cross some water, but that is okay. As soon as you reach the end of the maze there will be stairs. Walk up these, at the top there will be Saria. She will talk to you and ask if you wish to play your ocarina with her. Say yes, and she will teach you. The song goes like this: down, right, left, down, right, left. This is the song you are always hearing in the lost woods.

Now exit the Kokori Forest and enter it again. Turn left this time. Step on the stump and play Saria’s Song. The Skull Kid will give you a piece of heart for knowing it. Now exit the forest and enter AGAIN. Go left then go down the ladder, step on the stump, then take out your Ocarina. These skull kids will make you memorize random songs. Make sure that you have a paper and pencil ready so you can remember the songs. Memorize three times, and then they will give you a piece of heart. Okay now time to exit the lost woods and Kokori forest.

Hyrule Field and Kakariko Village

Do: Enter: Death Mountain, graveyard, and village
Get: Sun’s Song, bottle, piece of heart
Meet: Chicken Lady, Guard, and Dampe`

In Hyrule Field, get to the drawbridge, stand almost on it, and look out into the field. Go left to a small bridge and go over it. Then go forward onto a bridge up a slope. Walk up it to appear in Kakariko Village.

WOW! There is a ton of people to talk to now. Walk through the gateway, and you will see a cucoo running about the entrance of the village. Pick it up, and search the village with it until you find a coop where chickens should be. Throw it into the pen. Now look in a house near the coop (fully made) that has a crate near it, roll into it, and a cucoo will come out. Grab this one, and throw it in the pen. Near the pen is a cucoo, grab it, and throw it into the pen. Go back to where the crate was. Go up that slope and you will find one but don’t throw it in the pen. Instead, get to the red roof just below and jump, aiming for the small ledge with the cucoo on it. Once you are there, throw both cucoos down. Pick one up and throw it in the pen. Go find the other one, and take it to the pen. DO NOT THROW IT IN! At the pen, move forward to another slope. Move up it with the cucoo. Get to the end and back up a little. Aim for the ledge on the left and hopefully, if you do it correctly, you will be at that small fenced in area. Throw your cucoo over the fence. Go down to the bottom, there you will see another cucoo. Take it up and throw it over the fence. Now go down and climb up the ladder. There is a cucoo up here. Take it down to the pen. Throw it in. Find the other two cucoos by the well, pick them up one at a time, and throw them into the pen. Talk to the lady by the pen and she will give you a bottle.

Now, from the pen, go forward through the opening where the guy comes running out of sometimes. You have now entered the graveyard. If it is day, then a child will be walking around. If it is nightime, then a creepy-looking guy will be walking around. If you are there too late at night, then nobody will be there. If it is day, walk forward all the way, climbing over the fences. Stand on the triforce symbol, play Zelda's lullubye (the first ocarina song that Zelda taught you) and the big rock behind the triforce symbol will explode revealing a hole that leads to a creepy grotto. This part scared my sister like nothing's in her head but zombies (which you will encounter down here). This part is easy, kill all the keese/bats. The first on is on the celing just ahead of you. Move forward into the opening, the second is on the right side of you. The third and fourth are on the block dead ahead. There may be one on the left. Once all the bats are gone, a door will be unlocked on the block that had two keese on it. Open the door two find the zombies. Just close your eyes and run forward, you may get frozen, but just keep on pushin' forward because you'll break free before the ReDead get ya. As soon as you are in the next room, you will notice a block with writing on it. Press A to check it and it teaches you the sun's song. It turnes night into day and day into night, also freezes the zombies you came across. Now exit by running by the ReDead (it will be easier if you play the sun's song to freeze them) and running back to the first room and stepping in the light.

Now you don't have to do this, but it would be helpful. Run outside and wait until the wolf howls. Go back to the graveyard and you will see the creepy-looking guy. He will ask you to play his digging game. It is 10 rupees per hole. Ask Dampe` (the guy) to dig in some soft soil spots. You will have to go around many times before you get your prize. Two holes have nothing in them, most contain rupees. The way to win the prize is to simpley have Dampe` dig it up. Oh yeah, the prize is another piece of heart!

Now, finally exit the graveyard. Go to the house that had the box on the outside corner and go up that ledge. Go to where the chicken should be, but go forward farther to the gate with the gaurd on the left of it. Walk up to the gaurd, L-target him, and show him Zelda's letter (the letter Zelda gave you after a long sequence of hers. He will let you now pass through the gate into Death Mountain (finally).

Death Mountain Trail

Do: Find Goron City
Get: Nothing
Meet: Nobody
Okay, it is probobly called "Death Mountain" for a reason. You will notice straight away, the red arachnid-like things with one eye. These are called tektikes (Navi will say if you use the L-targeting-Navi-help thing). Try to dodge their hopping while running up the curvy slope. Once you are about a forth of the way up the mountain, you will notice a big rock in front of an entrance-way. On the left there is a sign saying Dodongo's Cavern is on the other side of the rock. We can;t do anything about it right now. Turn and go up the next slope and just keep on following it until you come to a platform with rocks on it, just ahead you will see an opening it has an entrance to somewhere, enter it to find Goron city.

Goron City

Do:Teach Saria's song, enter Darunia's chamber
Get:Goron's bracelet
Meet:Darunia

Oh now there are a ton of uh not people, but gorons. These rock-like creatures are sounding as if they have a problem. The problem has to do with the Dodongo's Cavern I told you about earlier. This place is a boring dry area unlike the parastiic Dodongo's Cavern. Darunia will tell you most about the problem, but right now worry about helping with the problem.

Run forward and over the fence, and keep going down until you are in the bottom floor. Run forward again, only when you see the white rug, stop and stand on it. While on it, play Zelda's Lullubye to open the door to Darunia's room. Run forward again and talk to the giant goron king, Darunia, and he will tell you the goron problem (or at least a lot about it). Then, stand right infront of him and play Saria's Song to make him dance like mad. After that, he will give you the goron's bracelet which allows you to pick up a heavy bomb flower. Before you leave, get all of the goron's info about the problem and try to see how you can help. They don't really give you much info about the bombs or the cavern.

Death Mountain

Do:Blow Dodongo's Cavern entrance up
Get: Nothing
Meet: Nobody
Exit the city by going back up the path to the top and step through the bright light.
From the exit, go forward and step on the platform. Look right and you will see another place to go to. Go through this and talk to the goron by the bomb flower. He will tell you about bombs (the only help the goron's have given apart from Darunia). So pick up the bomb flower and target over the legde just correctly and you will blow up that rock blocking the dungeon. Fall down there and enter the bright light.

Dodongo's Cavern

Do: Beat the dungeon
Get: Map, compass, bombs, goron's ruby
Meet: Nobody

You must equipped the Hylian Shield for the second most fiery dungeon in the whole game. If you have the deku shield equipped, then it will burn if it touches flying fire keese, fire from a dodongo, or from lava on the ground. You should equipt the deku shield for contact with scrubs and lizafoes. For the scrubs, you need to deflect the nut back with a real shield, the hylian shield is so heavy, it covers you. With lizafoes, if you don't attack back for a while they go away. So to defeat one better, stay in contact with it the whole time. If you come across a business scrub, they may sell you a new deku shield if you lost your other one (it will still cost 40 rupees).

Now we have a tip, lets get to the guide. To get out of this little trap, pick up a bomb flower from either the left or the right and throw it at the wierd big rock in the wall straight ahead. This opened up "the real cavern". Run forward and step on the rising platform then forward again to the larger platform with the beamos (the rotating thing with one eye). Run to the right and hop on that rising platform, then to the legde. Take a bomb and bomb the beamos to get by it. Bomb one (or two) walls that look odd. Ignore the one with a gossip stone (unless you are in needing of time) and go down the hallway either dodging or defeating the baby dodongos while making your way to the other side on the ledge. Because you need purmedent wight on the switch, walk over and grab a statue and pull and/or push it onto the switch so you can go through the door.

In the next room, you may call these sub-bosses, but I don't. These creatures are lizafoes, lizards on two legs with swords. You can look in the "enemies" section, or look at this (make sure you have the deku shield equipped to stay in contact with one for a while). To start, go to either the left or right side of the room and one will come to you. When it does, L-target it and block its attacks while attacking it. Eventually though, one will go away and another one will come to you. Do the same thing and the other one will come back. Finish it off and find the other one and finish it off as well. If you attack well, you should need about maybe seven hits for each lizafoe. When they are all defeated, if you need them, break some pots and grab some life. Then go through the door.

In this room, you will need a deku stick. If you don't have any at the present time, grab a bomb flower and throw it at the wierd part of the wall in the beginning of the room, then defeat the scrub to get deku sticks for a few rupees. Get back to the room you were just in. You may need to take care of the dodongos first. Throw a bomb at the dodongos twice to get rid of them. There are three dodongos, two you can get rid of. Two are in the first part of this area (one you can see already, the other one is on the other side of the rock) and the other one is guarding the door but easy to dodge. When they are gone, take out a deku stick and light all of the three braziers to open the door (you may need to find them first before you try to light them). Go through the door, obviaslly.

Were back where we found "the real cavern. Go forward and step on the switch to open the door on the way other side of the room. Get over to that side by jumping the platforms straight ahead of you, oh, and dodge the beamos along the way. Bomb a part of the wall that looks odd and you should find a chest containing the map. Bomb the other wierd part of the wall to find access a wierd room. In it, there is a giant row of bombs and another wierd part of the wall. First off, bomb the wierd part of the wall to be in a room with an armos. Again, you can check the enemies section or look here. To defeat it: awaken it first with a sword attack (thrust, counter attack, spin attack, ect.) Then it will begin to run all over the place. Throw a bomb at it to make it explode and a chest will apear holding the compass.

Now get back to the bomb-row room. Walk up to the middle bomb (the middle of the pillar the bombs surround. It is kind of small, much smaller than the other two sides.) and press A to pick up the bomb, then press A while standing still to drop the bomb. Run quickly away, for the bombs will explode like dominoes, one by one, until they have all been blown. After they all blow at once, the pillar will turn into a starecase. If you notice, the bombs will grow back all in one-by-one order. Walk up the staircase and follow the wood path left then you will find a door, across is some vines. Destroy the gold skulltula then collect its token. Then go through the door.

Here you will find two fire keese, some sleeping armoses, and a platform with a switch on it. If you noticed, the door is locked with medal bars and need the switch pressed to unlock it. DO NOT wake the armoses because it will just cause trouble, by the way, dead armoses will not reward you with anything. Walk 180 around the room tho find a ladder which leads up the platform. One problem, an armos is gaurding it. One soulution, you do not have to fight it, just grab it (it is not going to attack you if you grab it) and move it out of the way. Then climb up the ladder and activate the switch. This will open the door, allowing you to access another weird room.

In this room, you may call it a maze. I don't care one way or another. At the bottom though, there are blades that will knock you (you'll loose only 1/4 of a heart though. Jump down, then as Navi says: press L to look forward, do so to know where the blades are. Once you are as far forward as you can be, you will see a blue block against a ladder. Climb the ladder, then jump on the pillar with the smaller chest and bomb flower. Once you are there, open the chest to find 20 rupees. (This part I had a hard time figuring out, my sister told me the soulution). Pick up the bomb flower and quickly aim for the ladder, and if you are lucky, it will get trapped behind the ladder and explode the rock up so you can go through the walkway.

In this room there is a big problem, the pillar is on fire. The big answer is, if you noticed, there is an eye above the pillar. Take out the slingshot and hit that ol' eye like a dart on a target. This will put out the flames temperarily. So hurry, run on the pillar then on the next. Follow the short hall and open the door. Another lizafoe room. Do the exact same thing as before to open the door. In this room, there are two fire pillars with two eyes that need to be hit. The first one is above the pillar. After the first flame is out, jump on the platform with NO flames and look to your left. Take out your slingshot and hit it quickly to put out the second pillar's fire. Jump on to the ledge ahead to find a hallway that leads to more small pillars. Jump on the one ahead of you, then on the ledge ahead again. To your right is a chest with the bomb bag. Go to your left now and get to the next room. Just ahead of you is a switch, press it, and a rising pillar will rise extremely high, up to where you are even! (This cause is incase you fall or get a game over, but if you're careful that won't happen.) Now go right and cross the brigde until you come to a small gap. Fall through the gap and you will land on a giant dead dodongo. Stand in the eye and drop a bomb down. When it explodes, the eye will be red. Do that with the other eye and it will be red. Then the mouth will open allowing you to get through the door that it held.

Fall down, then go backwards and open the door in the mouth. In the middle of this room there is a bunch of blocks shoved in the ground with a switch in the middle needing purmedent wieght to keep it down again. You may need to do some things to get that purmedent wieght. Go to the left (or right, I forget again). And follow the maze until you come to a block. Push it down and over to another opening and climb up that ledge. Walk down the hallway, pushing a block out of the way. At the end, PUSH the block down and over to the switch and push it on the switch to activate it. It will open the door. You may happen to be low on bombs, if so, open the smaller chest to recieve bombs. After that, stand on the weird part of the ground and drop a bomb to access the boss room.

WOW you really don't deserve to have to fight a 15-foot dinosaur. I thought it was simple though. Check the boss strats. section to find out how to beat the boss.

After you beat him, Darunia will come out and thank you for your help. He makes you and him sworn bros. and asks a ridiculous queestion: if the gorons would hug Link! Oh yeah, he will hand over the goron's ruby, second spiritual stone.

Death Mountain Sumitt

Do: Find great fairy
Get: Magic, spin attack, din's fire
Meet: Great Fairy, Kaepora Gaebora the owl

Now you can access many places, including great fairy fountains. But for now we need the first great fairy fountain accessed. Go to where the red flag was, but get on the ledge near it. Bomb all the rocks on it, then toss a bomb at the rock on the higher ledge ahead of you. Run and jump on it then climb up to the next area. Run forward and just keep running until rocks will start to fall. Use your Hylian shield to block the rocks, but also try to dodge them. You may loose a heart or two, but that may be okay. Once you are at some vines or something, wait for the rocks to stop falling, then sling down the skulltulas to get past them. Climb up the vines now until you are at the very top of the mountain, the true sumitt. Ignore the owl for now, go over to the wierd part of the wall and bomb it. This will open a fairy fountain. Walk up, stand on the triforce symbol, and play Zelda's Lullubye to make a fairy come out. This fairy will give you a magical spin attack, that costs magic. Once you exit, talk to the owl, and he will take you down to kakariko village. From there, go back to Hyrule Market and be on your way to the castle. Go up the vines and run on the plateou. But, go to the "dead end" and bomb the rock. Inside is the fairy that will give you the din's fire.

6.04.2004

Zora's River

From Hyrule Castle, go left and follow the river once you see the river going left, follow it left. Here you will find Zora's River.

Do: Find Zora's Domain
Get: Nothing
Meet: Nobody

Get on land first. Then move forward and talk to the owl. After he flies away, bomb a rock to get through. If you want magic beans, then talk to the bean seller. After that, go to the corner of this part of the river and jump the corner. If you're lucky, you'll land on the other side (some people think you need a cucoo to get across, but not me). Run up the path until you can no longer then turn left. Run up this path which is a bit higher. When you come to the end, jump down, and continue running, then just follow the path until you come to a waterfall. Get close up and stand on the small triforce thing in front of it. While on it, play Zelda's Lullubye to open a path behind the waterfall. This is Zora's Domain, enter it.

6.03.2004

Zora's Domain

Do: Find lake hylia
Get: Silver scale, piece of heart
Meet: Zoras, king zora

From the entrance, go forward and run down and then back up again (it's the way the path is). Then, when you are as far as you can go, go left to find the royal chamber (where king zora is). Speak with him to hear his dilemma with Princess Ruto, she's gone. You will be abel to help with that, but not right now. Go left to find a zora on top of another waterfall. Talk to him, and play his diving game for 20 rupees. After you say yes, he will throw the rupees down the waterfall. Dive down and collect the rupees before time runs out. Once you collect them all he will tell you, and you should get back up there as soon as possible. After you get back up, he will give you the silver scale, which allows you to dive 3 more meters: 6.

If you're a person like I am, and want to get heart pieces alot then read this section, if you aren't, well, skip it.
Get up to the royal chamber and light a deku stick, quickly run down and light the torch below. Then fastly run down to the left and light those two torches then run over to the rocks and light that one. Then stay by the side so you can keep standing, and light the torches behind the waterfall. This will make a chest appear, holding a piece of heart. (You have to keep the same stick out the whole time or the torces will go out and you'll have to do everything all over again.

Now, to get to lake. Go in the deep water, and scour it for a square hole in the wall underwater. Use the new abilities to dive deeper to go through that hole. On the other side is Lake Hylia.

6.02.2004

Lake Hylia

Do: Explore the lake
Get: Bottle, piece of heart, beginning of scarcrows song
Meet: Pierre, fishing dude

Swim up fastley, and you'll find yourself in lake hylia. Swim northwest of where land is, but only a little. Try to locate something underwater. If you are close enough, you can even L-target it to locate it easier. Once you collect it, navi will read what is inside:

Help me I'm waiting for you inside lord Jabu Jabu's belly.
-Princess Ruto
P.S. Don't tell my father.

Now you have the letter, you could exit, but you shouldn't want to, unlss you don't like secrets. Perhaps plant a magic bean on the right side of the land near the scince lab (a sign will say scince lab first) so you can get to the fishing hole as an adult before you beat water temple. From the scince lab, go forward until you see some scarecrows. Talk to the one closest to the water, then make up your own tune and eventually, when you're an adult, that will be the scarecrows song. From that place, swim over to the next small chunk of land near that. This is the fishing hole. Go inside and ask that fishing guy to fish. He will charge 20 rupees but who cares. Fish for the lunkers in the middle (check the secrets for info). Now go back to Zora's domain.

6.01.2004

Zora's Domain/fountain

Do: Enter Jabu Jabu, get to another fairy fountain
Get: Farore's wind
Meet: Kig Zora, Jabu, great fairy

From here, go to the royal chamber. Speak to king Zora, then L-target him, then show him the letter in the bottle and he will (slowley) move aside, revealing the alter of Jabu Jabu. Before you go you need a fish. Go to where most of the torches you lit was (it is near the waterfall). Go to that shallow area and go to the small rocks and bottle a fish. Then go back up to the royal chamber and go down the right path to get behind King Zora and get to Jabu Jabu. When you are in Zora's Fountain, don't give Jabu the fish yet, swim behind Jabu and eventually you will find an island with trees and rocks. Get on it and bomb the rocks, it may take a few tries, but you will blow the rocks up eventualy revealing a pass. Walk through it to find a fairy fountain. Here she will give you the farore's wind. After that, go back to Jabu Jabu, get right up close to him, and give him the fish. He will suck both the fish and YOU into him. (I told you right before the Deku Tree dungeon that a dungeon would be in Jabu Jabu' belly.)

Jabu Jabu's Belly

Do: Beat the dungeon
Get: Map, compass, boomorang, zora's saphirre
Meet: Princess Ruto

You really ought to have the deku shield equipped, so you can defeat all the octrocks. Also, to not be hit by many non-floating things. I was worried of this first, but electricity will not do anything to your shield. Another thing you really ought to know is, it may look as if you are stuck in this place, but you can walk right through the closed mouth and exit the dungeon.

We again have a tip, but the walkthrough is more important. Go forward, it may be helpful to defeat the enemies in this room (check correct section) so you are not attacked. Then go to the doorway and L-target the thing above and hit it with the slingshot to unlock the door. Walk throgh it to be in a room with biries (jellyfish) that will sting you. Dodge them, and walk through the entranceway to find princess ruto. Talk to her and she will walk away, but fall into a hole. Fall in with her and talk to her twice. Now she'll want you to carry her! So do so. Press A to pick her up, then follow through the door behind you. In this room, run up and toss princess ruto on the ledge ahead. Then, step on the switch to rise the water and then you swim over to the ledge. Pick up ruto and take her forward in the short hallway, sling the switch on the ceiling, and then go through the door. Now, wait for the elevator to rise down to you, but try to dodge the oktrock (thing spitting stuff at you). When it comes down jump on it and wait for it to get to the top, then "everbody off the ride" and go through the door.

You are now in the room with all the holes. Dodge them by walkin along the right side wall because on the other one, that green thing will knock you down. Then go through the door on the other side. Now you are in a split area. Go to the farrrrrrrrrr right and step on the switch, then drop ruto on the switch (remember "permermedent weight") to unlock the door, now go through it. In this room you must defeat stingers. L-target one, then when it comes out and shoots at you, slash it. Three hits per stinger to make it disappear, there are nearly seven stigers. When they are all gone, a chest will appear holding the boomorang. Now, exit the room and pick up ruto. Just go straight to find a switch. Set the princess on the switch to open another door. In this room there is a parastic tenticle. Check out "enemies" section, or here. L-target the thin part up high and get in the middle to make it come down. Quickly hit it with the boomorang and get back. Repeat the same process until it is defeated. A chest will apear once dead, it contains the map.

Go through the door the red tentacle was guarding to find a room full of shaboms. Walk in the middle and throw down a deku nut, this will take them all out and a chest will open containing the compass. Exit, and go through another door with a tentacle to defeat. After you destroy it exit and go through the last new door. Defeat this tentacle, then go back to the room with all the holes. Dodge the holes, and go over to that one hole (second to the right) where I mentioned the green tenticle was. Fall in it ( WITH RUTO, did I mention to keep her with you the whole time. Whenever she disappears look in the room with the holes, don't turn off the game) and go through the door behind you.

When you are in this room, she will ask you to get her that stone then the heck out of this place. Throw her up there, and she will rise up, then big octo will fall down. This is a mini-boss, so check the bosses on frontpage for info. When it is gone, jump on the platform and you will rise up too. Break the pots in the room for hearts, the continue through the door. First off, get in the water and destroy the octrock nusince so you are not bothered. Then, throw the boomorang at the red tenticles then hop on them, then get to the door.

From this platform, jump to the other one to lower it. It will bring you down to the second room. Stay in it, and go to the left. Grab one of those boxes to pick them up and go across that lowered platform, which turns out to look like a bridge. Cross it, and get to that door over there and open it. (You cannot use ruto because she is toatally gone.)

In this room, kill all the bari and biri with th boomorang to not get stung on your search to find the boss. Once in the room, go over to the other side and climb up the vines. Target just right, and shoot at the switch with your boomorang, since you cannot hit it wth anything else. This will open up the door on the right, down below.

Go through it to find, well, a very odd looking boss. Check out the bosses on the frontpage site.

Ruto will be very odd in this cinama (not that she isn't weird to begin with), she will give link the spiritual stone, and ask you to marry her. She calls the stone her most prized possesion. Just as navi says: "what do you think that means, who cares, now we HAVE ALL SPIRITUAL STONES!

Market

Do: Witness horror of Zelda
Get: Ocarina of time, song of time
Meet: Ganondorf

From zora's fountain, exit and go and exit the zora's domain. Exit the zora's river by just floatin' down the river. When you are in Hyrule field, walk towards the castle to witness an awesome cinama. (To exit better, just remember what you did to come in.)

As soon as it is over, go to the moat, z-target the blue ocarina in the water right of the drawbridge and dive down and recover it. After you do so, Zelda will appear and teach you the song of time. It is: c-right, A, c-down, c-right, A, c-down. After that enter the market and go to the right of the happy mask shop and left of the potion shop. Go up this area and enter the temple.

Temple of time

Do: Enter the sacred realem
Get: Master sword, light medallion, extra wisdom
Meet: Sheik, Rauru

From the temple entrance, walk straight, and stand on the red carpet infront of the stone alter. While you stand on it, play the song of time with your brand new ocarina, to make the spiritual stones come out and place thamselves on the ater. It will also light up the triforce and open the sacred realem. Go through the door and walk up to the pedestal. Pull the master sword and start the triforce.

After you do this, a really cool, and long cinama will take place. That is not all, you will become an adult. This is an awesome privilage, and as the game progresses, it will be even awesomer.

Hyrule field/ lon lon ranch

Do: Show Ingo who's boss
Get: Epona
Meet: Ingo

Exit the market as soon as you possibly can, for it is now filled with the living nightmare of hyrule; ReDeads. Dodge them, for it will cause sierious trouble if you stop to play around. When you get to hyrule field, go to lon lon ranch.

When you are in the ranch, go forward to the horse corral and talk to Ingo (the man guarding the corral) and pay 10 rupees to ride. Play Epona's song, then mount Epona and ride her until time is up. Then ride again for ten rupees and do the same thing, except when you get on her, talk to ingo from on the horse and he will ask you to race. Say yes, and race him. When you start, stay close to the fence and wait for ingo to move. This will be hard, for you need to use all except one of your carrots, or else you will slow down BIG time. After you pass him, continue with using all but one carrot. First one to finish a lap and a fourth wins.  As you beat him, he will challange you to another. Win this and he will lock you in. Jump out of any fenced area around the very outside  to become free.

Kakariko Village/graveyard

Do: re-explore kakariko village
Get: hookshot
Meet: Dampe`

From Hyrule field, get to kakariko village (you cannot bring epona, she will not let you).

You will notice that many guys who were in the market as a child, are well here as an adult (unlike the unlucky ones who got turned into ReDeads). Talk to many of them for information on what has happened.

Besides that, go to the graveyard. Walk up the slope left of you and you'll see a gravestone with flowers at the base of it. Pull it, than drop down the hole to find much creep, for you'll be in Dampe`'s tomb, under his grave!

Walk forward and talk to him to race (you are not racing to see who can finish first, you are trying to keep up with him). Follow him through many paths, follow but watch out for the fire he drops. You have a few consiqunces if you don't keep up: you get trapped behind a rock he closes, stay stuck in a corner for too long, or, run into a ReDead. Of course, this paroll will only happen if you loose track and cannot keep up. The reward at the end is the hookshot, that is the equiptment Sheik said you'll need; "equipt as you fully are, you will not get very far, kakariko village is where you should head".

Exit by going straight. There will be a big blue rock in the way, and, it will have the same markings as the alter and temple of time. So, play the song of time to move it, just like the block blocking the sacred realem. Walk up, and you'll find yourself in the windmill. Jump down and stand infront of that guy who complains about that ocarina kid who meadeled with the windmill. Show him your ocarina, and he will begin to recognize you. He says: "I'll never forget this song: A, c-down, c-up, A, c-down, c-up". This just appears to be the tune of the mill, the song of storms. After this, it will start to rain and he will be mad. Exit, nothing will happen if you don't, but as I just said, nothing will happen, and you will be awful bored.

You may choose to look around and see all of the changes and new shops and stuff there are. It has, as that one guy said when you were a kid: "one day, this village will be a thriving town almost as much as hyrule market", then exit.

Kokori forest/lost woods/sacred forest meadows

Do: Enter the first temple
Get: minute of the forest
Meet: counting sheik, Sheik

From the village, head to the forest. WOW! Kokori forest sure has changed too______into a horrible wastland of deku deamons and flying octrocks. Kill most of them to be able to progress easier. Make your way through them, then go up to the lost woods.

Go right, left, right, left, then mido will be blocking the way, play saria's song to progress, go straight, right, left, right then you'll find the sacred forest meadows. Go forward and go through the maze, but watch out, there are moblins now, horrible things that will charge the minute they see you. Check the post earlier to find out what to do here. (Hint. To defeat a moblin, hookshot their back or side.)

As soon as you pass through the maze, what used to be a bunch of mad scrubs is now: A GIANT MOBLIN! He can be quite difficult at times, but just L-target to look straight. Move forward, but when he slames his club down side jump to avoid it. Only when he gives a rest, you move forward andnothing else, but when he gets ready to slam his club, sidestep. Work like this until you are behind him, then just run up to where saria's "special spot" was. Link will be suprised that there is no saria, but sheik will be there. He will teach you your first warp song, the Minute of the Forest: A, c up, c left, c right, c left, c right. Now Shiek will disappear, now, stand infront of the triforce and use the hookshot to bring yourself on the branch above the ledge up high. After you do this, enter the dark space to appear in Forest temple.

Forest Temple

Do: Beat the forest temple
Get: Map, compass, bow 'n' arrow, forest medallion
Meet: nobody

You may need to look up in the enemies section for a lot of the info on how to defeat many of the enemies. By the way, now you will be introduced to some enemies you'll see in almost every temple such as: Wallmaster, bubble, stalfos, ect;.

Walk forward and defeat the wolfos, for they can be a nuisince to anybody. After these guys are dead, climb up the left set of vines and as soon as you see a ledge to yout right, get on it. Move to the very very edge but don't fall off, and target the chest over on the other branch/legde. As soon as the red dot is on it, fire away, and as soon as you are over there, open the chest to get a small key. Then get down and go through the door and defeat the skulltula. As soon as it is dead, go through the next door to get to the "real area". Go forward and you'll see four ghosts take fire away from the the fire from torches and put them somewhere in the dungeon.

Go straight and through the door on the other side of the room. Defeat the bubble to be able to get to the next room unharmed. Now you must fight two stalfos, these creatures may be very difficult, check out enemies for tips. After both stalfos are dead, a chest will appear holding another small key, break some pots for life and a fairy if you were harmed. Exit this room and the small hall with the bubble and go a little ways to your right and stand in front of the blue block. Play the song of time to make it disappear and reveal a door.

Go through it and you will be in a courtyard of sort. Walk around and look for vines with three skulltulas. Use the hookshot to destroy two of them, and dodge the other one. After that, go up through the door and kill the bubble, a chest will appear containing the map, open it. After that, go through the door and look over the side. You'll see a hookshot target across the room to your left, shoot over there and step on the switch. This will lower the water in the well over there, go down in it and try not to land harmed. There are hearts in the water if you need them, so try to run in it. When you are on the other side, open the chest and you'll get a third small key! Exit this by climbing up the vines on the wall and you'll be in a new courtyard. Then get into the "real area" by going through the door.

Look around for a door with a lock on it, open that door with a key and destroy the big skulltula in the room and proceed through the next door. Destroy the bubble and climb up the ladder and the next one on the right. Navi will say that there are arrows on the floor. If you are stuck on this puzzle, go to www.ocarinaoftime.org for info. Anyway, once you have all the blocks in properation, climb it, then climb the ladder and go into the room with the bubbles. Kill them all, then enter the door using your small key.

Run down the twisted corridor and into the room that Navi says there is a wallmaster in. Run forward, then jump to the right and enter that door with your small key. In here, run up through the stairs and enter the door. In here, defeat the two stalfos, whenever they let their guard down, attack them. Their attacks are very powerful, so be careful that you have your gaurd up alot too. Once you have defeated them both, a giant chest will appear holding the fairy bow. Exit out the door you came in.

Now, look in the black mirrors and you'll see a poe. Shoot an arrow at the mirror, then she'll move to the next one. Once you have shot her in all three mirrors, she'll come out. Go to the bottom where she appeared and fight her like a regular poe. Once she is dead, you'll earn a small key, then go back to the room where you got the bow and arrow and go forward and enter that door. Defeat the poe sister in here now. Then head back to the room right before the twisted corridor. Shoot an arrow at the eye symbol above the door and it will straighten out the corridor. Go through the untwisted corridor and jump down and open up the fancy looking chest that contains the boss key. Then quickly jump down the hole before the wallmaster grabs you. In the hole, defeat the bubbles to open the door.

In the next room, go forward and defeat the baba. Once it's dead, go and enter the door closest to the baba. In this room there is a floormaster. Shoot three arrows at it and it will break apart into three smaller hands. Use the spin attack to defet the little hands before they kill you. Once they are dead, they leave a chest behind. Now go back to the room where you got the bow and arrow and go forward through that door. Go to the top and enter the door with the lock on it.
